Following 4 weeks of silence from his office, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson has finally made a statement on the rising tension between the newly immigrated illegals migrants in the city and Black residents who have resided in the city for generations.

In the last 4 weeks 7 buildings have been burned by illegal migrants says community activist Deshawn Edwards.

“So far when we coordinated with the NOI (Nation of Islam) and 3 other smaller community organizations to do night patrols since they started assaulting girls and burning homes, this was obviously before the incident at the 711 off of Ashland.” He said referencing the recent looting and burning of a 711 gas station where dozens of bystanders were injured.

For the past 2 months, dozens of Black community organizations have been patrolling the streets every night in an attempt to stymie the rising levels of violence in the city caused by illegals. Local police agencies have also noted that car thefts and violent assaults have doubled within the last 60 days and have risen dramatically since last year.

When confronted by reporters this Labor day weekend over the recent burning of several business and home in the Chicago We have to be careful when we use language to describe certain behavior,” Johnson said.

However Johnson remained steadfast, insisting that he would not budge on forcing illegals onto the Chicago community. “My position has not changed, that transitioning individuals to other police stations is still top of mind,” Johnson said. “Finding more adequate places for shelter for families, that is top of mind. Having full wraparound services for families who wish to call the city Chicago their home, that is still top of mind.”

Experts estimate over 20,000 migrants have arrived in Chicago within the last year, though when confirming this data with the Mayors office the Johnson administration refused to comment.

With worries of Lollapalooza being canceled in light of the illegal migrant violence, more violent assaults in the metro area within the last month than there were within the last year combined, and now what appears to be a large portion of his own constituency electorally abandoning him, the stymie Johnson administration has unfortunately shown its utter incompetence in managing the migrant crisis or at the very least mitigating risk surrounding it.
