Old clips and statements from Kamala Harris are resurfacing.

Statements show Harris bragging about charging Black mothers with jail time for the children’s perceived truancy in school.

She bragged that truancy had gone down 25% thanks to her prosecutions. She spoke at the ‘Family Law’ conference ironically.

Harris implied that the Black demographic doesn’t go to school because they don’t think of education as a value like other white adjacent groups.

“If it takes me being the bad guy by highlighting the connection, by saying I’ll prosecute parents for truancy, I’ll do it,” she said at the time. When Germans, Italians and Irish flooded the country in the 19th century, they built primary, secondary schools and great universities. Why? Because the culture they were bringing with them to this country placed great emphasis on education. The Chinese are the exact same way which is why truancy isn’t a problem with that demo.”

Harris intentionally ignores the historical and ongoing track record of white-supremacist theft of Black wealth in the United States. Poverty is the primary reason Black homes lead in truancy. Most Americans recognize and understand that Black Americans have been economically strangled from the country’s inception.

Harris not only locked up Black mothers but had the gall to call herself lecturing the same public who she victimized and then cackled about taking vulnerable Black women away from their children.

As the democratic nominee, Harris is currently running for president of the United States and is locked in a close contest with former president and the republican nominee Donald Trump. However, Harris has not received the expected surge in polls following a shaky presidential debate showing.

Harris is also facing a myriad of issues among her party’s key voter base.

Black Americans have been stale on Harris, with many online influencers, commentators, and viewers alike finding her inauthentic or deceiving. Harris in the past referenced herself as a Asian woman and seems to be cosplaying being Black rather than actually having a lineage connected to American Freedmen or at the very least a Black upbringing.

Harris has neither.

Can she convince enough Black Americans to look past another insult?
