The Congressional Black Caucus has effectively abandoned the Black community, with little to no meaningful legislation to show for it.

Progress waits for no people. So, let’s get right to the point, the CBC should be dissolved. The old negroes need to move out of the way so that the young fighters like us can make real change, not sing spirituals.

The CBC pushed itself into irrelevance.

The Black community is needed the CBC during Freddie Grey’s murder and when the people of Baltimore rose up…10 years ago.

The CBC should have pressed the Justice Department to pursue Zimmerman for the murder of Trayvon Martin, but they didn’t lift a finger. That was 13 years ago.

The CBC allowed for Rick Snyder, Republicans in Michigan and Mississippi to poison Black people’s water. And only managed to complete a measly photo op (no pun intended) with Obama, as a conciliatory gloat or a slap in the face to the Black community from the Democratic party.

The general consensus in the Black community is that the CBC is not just useless, but actively working against common Black folk.

We’re a humble people, and we deserve fighters. I’ve spent my life fighting the armed pigs of the state and it pains me to see my people struggle while rich assholes use our skin color to garner more benefits for themselves at the expense of all of our lives.

The CBC members are beyond evil, they might be worse than the white supremacist though that be a reach even for those demons. Even if many of its members aren’t of Freedmen decent, they’re still Black people. How could they sell out their fellow man so easily and for so little?

What the point of the CBC continuing to exist if it doesn’t use its numbers to push and shove the Democratic or Republican parties to do pass fiscal legislation that will help the Black community? Hell do they even pass hate crime protections for us?

The CBC should dissolve if it cannot make meaningful strides on reparations or a hate crime bill for Freedmen in the year of 2025, now nearly 50 years after its conception as a caucus.

Let younger Black people with our community’s best interest at heart take over those seats so that we can finally progress. The CBC has been one of the main factors holding the Black community back and they’re lack of results is evidence.

The CBC let white supremacist get away with murdering my brothers and for what? Petty luxurious trinkets and the chance to pretend to be the white bourgeoisie elite that take from their own too?

They must do the right thing and remove themselves from the situation so that the next generation can take the reins.

Nah, we’re gonna do this a different way.

All members need to prepare to pass some legislation to help Freedmen in the next 12 months, regardless of a Republican held contested congress. If not then save yourselves the trouble and just step down so we can save you all the humiliation of getting run out of office by our generation’s candidates.

We’re the rowdiest group of brothas yet and we don’t plan on slowing down. We’re unapologetically Black and staunchly against white supremacy in all of its forms. And we won’t sit beside traitors, even if they dress well.

Those I guess that’s a reach too
